It’s true, The Hartford Financial Services Group has created and launched an iPhone, iPad and iPod application that delivers step-by-step instructions for drivers who have an auto accident.

“We want to extend our ability to service our customers and increase our connection with them whenever and wherever they are and on their terms,” Jacqueline LeSage Krause, Vice President – The Hartford

In addition, drivers can store personal contact information, vehicle and insurance information.

Policy holders can access an accident checklist, collect and exchange driver and accident information, even accident photos and reference roadside guides, including an interactive emergency kit checklist.

Want to locate a Hartford approved auto repair facility, no problem, the application does it! Clients can eve save and review the accident history and locate a replacement vehicle and access a database of national glass repair companies.

If you have an accident as a Hartford insured client, you can immediately connect to The Hartford’s claims department and upload accident details, driver information, policy number and photos directly to The Hartford from your iPhone.
